Exam tips
- A detailed plan before writing is mandatory at B2: 5-8 minutes well spent
- Open with a quote, a statistic or a rhetorical question to hook the reader
- Vary your sentence structures: don't default to subject-verb-object every time
- Use the subjonctif at least 2-3 times in the text: it demonstrates grammatical command
- Check the spelling of connectors: néanmoins, par-delà, quant à — these are common sources of error
