Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the DELFOnline platform. By registering or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

By accessing and using the DELFOnline platform (the 'Platform'), the user agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use the Platform.

DELFOnline reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

DELFOnline is an online educational platform for preparation for the DELF, DALF and TCF examinations. The Platform offers:

- French grammar and vocabulary lessons
- Listening and reading comprehension exercises
- AI-corrected written production tools
- 24/7 tutor chatbot
- Student progress tracking
- Preparation specifically for English speakers

DELFOnline is not an official examination centre and is not affiliated with the Ministère de l'Éducation Nationale de France, the CIEP or any official examining body. The platform offers independent pedagogical preparation.

To access the full features of the Platform, users must register with truthful, accurate and up-to-date information. The user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their access credentials and all activities carried out from their account.

DELFOnline reserves the right to suspend or cancel accounts in the event of:
- Breach of these terms
- Fraudulent or abusive use of the platform
- Providing false registration information
- Behaviour that harms other users

Users under 16 must have parental or legal guardian consent to register.

DELFOnline offers paid subscription plans with access to premium features. Prices are displayed in the local currency and include applicable taxes.

Payments are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment service provider. DELFOnline does not store credit card details.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription from the 'My Account' section at any time.

Refund policy: DELFOnline offers a 30-day money-back guarantee from the first subscription. To request a refund, contact hello@delfonline.com within the stated period.

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to texts, images, audio, videos, exercises, grammar explanations, design, logo and source code, is the exclusive property of DELFOnline or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

The following are expressly prohibited:
- Reproducing, distributing or transmitting any Platform content without express authorisation
- Using content for commercial purposes without prior written consent
- Reverse engineering or decompiling any part of the Platform software
- Sharing access credentials with third parties

Users may download materials solely for personal, non-commercial use, provided all copyright notices are maintained.

The user undertakes to use the Platform lawfully, ethically and in accordance with these terms. The following are expressly prohibited:

- Using the Platform for illegal activities or those that infringe third-party rights
- Publishing or transmitting offensive, defamatory, obscene or inappropriate content
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to systems or networks related to the Platform
- Using automated systems (bots, scrapers) to extract data from the Platform
- Interfering with the normal operation of the Platform
- Impersonating DELFOnline or other users

DELFOnline does not guarantee that use of the Platform will ensure passing the DELF, DALF or TCF examination. Results depend on the effort, dedication and prior level of each student.

The Platform is provided 'as is' and 'as available'. DELFOnline does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or completely secure.

In no event shall DELFOnline be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the Platform, including loss of data or profits.

DELFOnline's total liability to the user shall not exceed the amount paid by the user in the previous 12 months.

The processing of users' personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, available on the Platform. By accepting these Terms, the user confirms having read and accepted the Privacy Policy.

DELFOnline complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

DELFOnline reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the Platform, temporarily or permanently, with or without notice. DELFOnline shall not be liable to the user or any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuation of the service.

In the event of permanent discontinuation, DELFOnline will notify users with at least 30 days' notice and offer a pro-rata refund for the unused period.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. For any dispute arising from these terms, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Notwithstanding the above, if you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may benefit from the protections afforded by the laws of your country of residence where these are more favourable.
